Romans 10:1-5

Bretheren, My heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved for I hear them record that they have Zeal of God, but not according to knowledge for they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteouness of God. For Christ is the end of the law for righteounsee to every one that believeth. for Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the Law. That the man which doeth those things shall live by them. (KJV)

God tells us in these verses above that many person have the zeal of God within them but by their own submission they create for themselves their own righteousness. This righteousness comes from the ignorance of man in understanding the difference between what God's will is and the leadings of one's own heart in matters.

The total submission of the mind,body and soul of God's creatures enables the christian not only to maintain their zeal but also to apply obedience to do the will of God according to His will and not of our own will. What my seem to be obedience to this will in our lives could be the total opposite simply because we are following our emotions and not adhereing to the leadings of the Holy Spirit.

We as Christians on many occassion think that God needs a hand in doing his job and that we are to help him by trying to fix situations through our own hands or give it a push through submissions of our own knowledge and not that of the Holy Spirits. This is not truth. The first thing we are taught in the Church is; it is the Holy Spirit that teaches and guides but we inadvertantly shut him out when he speaks.

Therefore we create a paradox in which we continually move in the same circle of motion never growing and never prospering in the word of God rendering us useless by our own lack of understanding in knowing of how to submit ourselves totally to the will of God or submit to the power of the Holy Spirit that leads us in the right direction.
