Fruit of The Spirit

Biting into a juicy, delicious peach can actually help you to understand a spiritual truth and help you walk in the Spirit.

It also gives you an insight into working to please God.

Just as a cherry tree is incapable of producing peaches, it is likewise impossible for you to produce spiritual fruit apart from the Holy Spirit.

Instead of depending on your own skill to produce good works, trust in the Spirit to cultivate fruit like goodness, love, joy, patience, perseverance and self control.

Relying on talent and ability will take you so far and will ultimately frustrate you because that is not God’s plan.

The Lord’s design and desire for you is for you to be guided, directed and energised by His precious Holy Spirit.

This wonderful relationship will empower you and expand your vision and ministry, enabling you to touch others with the Father’s love and be a blessing to others.

What is more, when you allow the Holy Spirit to produce lasting fruit in your life, you will keep growing as a true disciple of Christ.

What a wonderful way to live! Keep walking in the Spirit and be a blessing to others.
