Three things God will do when you trust Him

Does God care about you? Is He interested in your life? What will God do when you trust Him? These are questions many of us ask at times in our lives. But what are the answers? When you trust God, He gives you salvation from a sinful nature, something you cannot do for yourself no matter how good you are. Beyond the peace that this brings to your life, here are three things that God will do for you:
He Knows God is omniscient, which means that He knows everything. Because this is true, He also knows what is best for you as you travel your lifetime. God wants to help you in your life, but you must ask for His help, it is not automatic. If you come to Him in pride, thinking you can do it your own way, you will not get the help you need. However, if you come to Him in humility asking for His wisdom to replace your own, He will walk with you and help in every detail of your existence.
He Cares God wants what is best for you. If He knew what was good for us but it stopped there, what good what it do. He has taken it to the next level by caring about our lives. Because He wants what is best for us, we are safe in trusting His love and goodness for us. One of the things He also wants for us is to rest in Him as we wait for His will to be revealed. God wants us to trust Him with even the small things that often we think are too trivial to bother God.
He is able God is sovereign, which means that whatever happens in our lives may change our plans but not what God has planned for us. Romans 8:28 tells us, “For we know that all things work together for good to those that love God and called according to His purpose.” (KJV)
Our plans get dashed to bits by bad things that happen: illness, unemployment, death of a loved one, etc. We think all is lost when these happen, but God’s plans are still on course. We can rest because God is at work in our behalf. Nothing can derail His plans for our lives.
Do you know God’s wisdom in your life that knows what is best for you? Do you know He cares about you and loves you beyond measure, wanting what is best for you. Then, do you trust His sovereignty in your existence, His ability to carry out His Will for your benefit. You must make the choice that leads to this certainty. What will your answer be?
