For heaven waits for me

there is so much to see
The Father met me at the gate
While you watched me wilt and die
You couldnt see but all around you
were angels by your side
They told me when I go
That they would care for you
So I took the Fathers hand
It was all that I could do
I told you before I left
that dying was hard
But I have never been so happy

I have no more pain
and the love here is so great
I got a new body
when I walked through the gate

For God's holding my hand
and when you close your eyes to sleep
and reach the promise land
I will meet you at the gate
when the Father guides you through
Until I see you child again
