Child

My child, you may not be mine but you are part of me
God knew the future so he sent me to pray endlessly
That in the midst of everything you would be covered
Far more important than being smothered
My natural instinct is to be a good mum
But it wasn’t my place, I was assured of this
So I tried not to be sad, depressed and glum
From the beginning I could see the dilemma ahead
I tried not to worry, I thought of you instead
I prayed for you and will continue too
I loved you for nobody else but you
As I told to you, everything I do is for you as well
And our extending family…
God is working it out
He is Abba, He is Dad
Gods helping us out!
He is only to glad
To step in and lift up our family unit
However modern it may be –
He’s still God and He cares and He understands
And he moves outside of mans remit
Child
never forget, God who God is Almighty God
And he knows EVERYTHING, so try not to worry
I only pray that you will live for Him
And don’t forget our along the way chats
By God’s prophetic word I declare you are ‘going to be great’
Child
I adore you; no devil from hell can distort this fact
Not all facts tell the truth
But I tell you this truth has been tested and tried
And it has not failed, because I have not lied
Child
You may not be mine but you are a part of me
