Your Flag

I am your Flag
Red, white, blue
With pride unfurled
Soft breeze or gale winds
Come what may, I care not.

I am your Flag
Hearts beat stronger
Heads rise higher
Eyes moisten and lips quiver
Borne on high, I pass by.

I am your Flag
O’er bloody battlefields
Upon freshly dug graves
Love of home and country
Symbol of freedom, I stand tall.

I am your Flag
Hoist me on high
Banner of the brave
Stained by tears and blood
In grateful hearts, I proudly wave.
