All I want is a site somewhere
Far away from the garbage there
With a tender group that cares

Lots of subjects for me to write
With critiques if I make it trite
Warm greets, warm chat, warm site

I'm...so... Mixa-phorically abso-bloomin'-lutely thrilled
I'd...be... tickled if my Private Messenger filled

What a blessed community
To be ourselves we are truly free
In Christ we spread the glee

A long, long time ago
When he was still a member
Of that that Glory Room on High
And he knew if he had his own
That they would put him on a throne
“And no one would be greater than I”

But God on High He made him quiver
With the judgment He’d deliver
Bad news for old Luc-i-fer
Bound to earth, sealed, deliver’d
And I can remember how he cried
When he tumbled down from up on high
Chained to earth and fit to be tied
The day his glory died

So bye, bye, to Lucifer, bye
Lost his glory
Goes the story
Now he’s thrown from the sky
Them FaithWriters with a wit that’s just wry
Sayin’ “This’ll be the day that you fry
This’ll be the day that you fry….”

Do you read the Books of Law
And do you hold God above in awe
As the Bible tells ya so?
Now can you write plays or flower’y prose
And can poetry express your deepest woes
And can you write a Challenge that real-ly flows?

Well, I know you write what’s on your mind
‘Cause I saw you on that Chat Room line
The words poured out like hymns
Giving all praise to Him
Ooo! I was a radical theatre playwright buff
With a keyboard and some silly stuff
But I knew I wasn’t up to snuff
The day his glory died

They started writing “Bye, bye, to Lucifer, Bye
Lost his glory
Goes the story
Now he’s thrown from the sky”

I met a girl on the Newbie Nook
And I asked if she was writing a book
She just gave me a smiley icon
Then I went down to the FaithWriter’s Store
Where I’d seen the Challenge Books before
But the monitor said they were all closed and gone

And at the Water Cooler they screamed
Sparrow cried and Red Baron dreamed
But not a word was written
Not even from KamikaziKitten

And the three girls I admire most,
Cori, Dori and Deb Porter the Host
They didn’t leave a single post
The day his glory died
And they were singin’

“Bye, bye, to Lucifer, bye
