SECRET TERRORISTS IN THEORY AND FACT.

Many people are rejoicing over the progress against terrorism in Iraq. al-Zarqawi, a sadistic murderer, has been killed. The stability of the government has increased through its appointments and the training and outfitting of police and military forces. The American military and intelligence forces have increased their capacities. Many believe that democracy in Iraq is close at hand. The war may be long and hard, but the end is clearly in sight. I wish these optimists were right. I think the truth is far different.

The bald truth is that DEMOCRACY IS UNATTAIBLE IN IRAQ OR ANY MUSLIM COUNTRY. THE FACT IS THAT MUSLIM THEOLOGY AND PRACTICES CREATE TERRORISTS WHEREVER IT IS PRACTICED AND PERMITTED.

This is the message which governments and individuals ignore at their peril. The Police Chief of the City of Toronto has refused to say that the terrorists recently caught were Muslims, and has prohibited any reference to their religion. Pious Christians rejoice when a Muslim cleric joins in Christian prayer services, as a sign that Muslims are a religious group like many others. WE want to believe that terrorism, like crime, is universal and endemic to humanity. WE want to believe that Muslim is a benign religion. WE want to believe that those who speak against and warn about the expansion of Islam are intolerant, bigoted, discriminatory and ill informed. The identification of the terrorists charged in Toronto has unleashed a barrage of accusations against the law, the police, the public, and anyone else who names Islam as a contributing factor in the plot.

There has been overwhelming support for the assertion that terrorism arises from indigenous people of Muslim persuasion. We should know that we cannot blame Muslim extremism upon environmental factors like poverty, discrimination, lack of education and parental abuse. This neo-Marxist explanation should by now be rejected by every thinking and educated person. The suicide attackers on 9-11 were from well educated and wealthy families. The Toronto group comes from middle class backgrounds in which there is no evidence of discrimination, lack of privileges, and opportunities in a country filled with immigrants. Terrorists come from excessive devotion to Muslimism, and from Mullahs who carry extreme views of the Koran. Extremism does not come from an absence of the Koran but from increased attention to its writing, teaching and message.

It needs to be emphasized that the Muslim religion has the Koran and its interpretation by leaders as the sole guide for faith and practice. As a result, Moslems may profess their beliefs in some common phrases such as “There is no God but Allah and Mohammed is His prophet” but differ wildly in related beliefs and practices. This comes about because of the power of the Mullahs (local religious leaders) to interpret the Koran. These interpretations reflect religious differences dating back hundreds of years, racial preferences, political agendas, power struggles and a host of other causes.

Not only is the Muslim religion a patchwork quilt of different belief and practices, but this is overlain with a lack of separation of the political and religious dimensions. It is inherent in the Muslim religion that a full fruition of the religion will result in a world which is not only Muslim but also governed by Muslims. In spite of the soft pedaling of this idea by some moderates, it is a foundation stone of Muslim belief. For those acting out this idea, and the dream of another Muslim Empire, any government which is not Muslim must be destroyed. Tolerance of other faiths or governments which are not Muslim is absent. Since they are not Muslim, they are by definition infidels and should be destroyed.

Terrorism is supported by a theory of multi-culturalism which protects and insulates new [-1] immigrants from Western influences. Hidden terrorists are created in an environment of freedom, where the beliefs and practices of the Koran can be transmitted and used to influence and damage the minds of young people. Terrorists arise from Islam where there is increased devotion to the Koran and Muslim as a religious and political way of life. Terrorism thrives in an environment of multi-culturalism which shields young men and women from Western influences, and where law interprets the process of being made into terrorists as a human right of free speech and freedom. Inherent in the western concept of multi-culturalism is the concept of tolerance for all sorts and conditions. Tolerance cannot punish social deviates and those who work against the very western values which makes their dissent possible.

Why should this be so? Why does Muslimism breed terrorism among the young men and women? What are the roots of creating secret terrorists? I suggest this matter is very serious. It cannot be dismissed by saying young people should be able to explore alternative ideas, and different philosophies. To the devout Muslim this is rank heresy and is not permitted. Let me make the position as clear as I can.


1. Muslimism is based upon mythology. Islam can be compared to a tribe in its sociological and value laden roots. The protectors of the tribal values are mullahs, and other leaders. There must be protection because of the hatred and disputes between different factions and followers of Mohammed. One cannot accept the values of Western civilization, and Western sources of truth by the scientific method, research, and testing without rejecting the Koran and its dominance and authoritarianism. The practice and theory of Muslimism is directly contrary to the values and practices of Western civilization. In this contest one or other must prevail.
2. The methodologies accepted for resolving disputes between and among Muslims society are FORCE, POWER AND PHYSICAL CONFLICT. The terrorists in Iraq and other places are indigenous to Muslim society. One may decry the practices and behaviors of the terrorists in cutting the throats of their victims, blowing up innocent children and women, and committing gruesome atrocities, but this is permitted in the Koran towards the enemies who would destroy Muslim practices and society. But who are these enemies? Those who accept the scientific method for discovering truth. Those who argue for rational discussion and compromises. Those who propose peaceful negotiations and compromise. People are naive to believe that al-Zarqawi is an aberration. He is an essential saint of Muslim. The secret terrorists find their support in university professors who support mythology in place of truth because they have done the same thing in defense of feminism, black power, homosexuality, and legal and value distortions of all kinds. The terrorists are supported by so-called Christian people who refuse to put to death sex offenders, rebels, murders, etc in the name of compassion, The rebels find support from politicians who will not, like George Bush, obey the law of the land. If this society is lawless, has no principles or values, and exists by distortion of fact and practices then it provides support for terrorists.
3. Secret terrorists arise in Western society within an environment where ignorance replaces fact, and truth is hidden by blind adherence to notions about freedom, peace and tolerance. The abuse of these values provides fuel for rebellion, death and destruction. Support also comes from mediaeval concepts where only the leaders have knowledge and the followers must obey. The practices of Islam differ little from behaviors in the Middle Ages. Islam cannot adapt or respond to the modern world of technology so refuses to accept it. It cannot adjust to individual initiative and technology so it tries to destroy it. It cannot respond to new inventions so it fights them under the guise of religion. The world of the Muslim theologian is a flat world which remains because Mohammed said so. It is a world of religious law, political law, and moral law all which comes from the Koran. There is no common law or practice to use as a guide. The ever present mullah interprets actions and suggests solutions to remain within the Muslim fold. His word is law, moral guide and the voice of God.


What does all of this mean? It means that there will never be peace in Iraq, because it demands that Muslims compromise with Western values. To do so is to reject their mediaeval faith and practices and accept the Western values of deciding truth by the scientific method, resolving disputes by rational compromise, and rejecting the view that Mohammed knew everything and that his word is eternal on all matters. George Bush is badly misled about Iraq. The idea that every person wants freedom, liberty and democracy is just not true in Muslim society as Iraq loudly confirms.

It is time for Christians in Western society to wake up to the realization that we are in a war. We cannot fight this cancer with values and practices common in Western society. The crusaders wrestled with this conflict in their day. Islam has never rejected its ideals of a total world under the control of Islam. We can hear the message if we only will listen to the Mullahs, Ayatollahs and leaders in the Muslim world. It is much more comfortable to decry them as crazy, ill informed, zealots and misguided. The truth is that they are none of these. The more outlandish the message, the more there is a plea for dominance, the more Islam is “offended” by Western values, the truer the message is to the real Islam. Muslims are on the march once more as they were in the 11th century. . Do we succumb or fight? There is no place like Jerusalem to support and defend. The internet and technology has made the whole world a battleground. We need to demand of our politicians that they stop playing politics with such important values and ideals as democracy, liberty, and freedom, and defend out borders, stamp out terrorism in all its form, and fight for the survival of Western society
