The Transaction

Dirty, empty
He holds me- (corrupted, impure)
Holding all composure
Drifting into make believe
A corpse (dead and stinking I feel)
Confusion/voices of reason/confusion
(To mush going in my mind)
He continues, emptying his-self
Pulling up and zipping my jeans, I dash home (discontented)
With money in hand, as my father awaits
Cold looking, greed in his eyes
As he gawks, licking his lips (Serpent, snake)
Sneaking out the side door
After I handed my fahter the cash
I ran and ran and ran, untill I couldn’t run no more
Aproaching a dead end road I look out over the cliff
The Suicide Attempt
"Help"
Screaming (If I cry louder do you think they'll hear me?")
What lies ahead, if I cross this line of life and death?
If I overdosed on narcotics (easy to obtain on any street corner)
Or the slit-your-wrist routine (classic ending/tragic)
Some say, "Hell"
Is it better than this one?
(Or worse)
Standing
Wind blowing
Ocean waves; heavily beating against the bottom of the cliff
(Steep,
Drop)
Voices usher

NEW LIFE
As I attempt-
A man (unknown), peculiar
Slips from the cracks of the dark night
Scared, confounded, tears streaming
Pouring
Pouring
Backing away (No- no mmmore)
However, a wave of peace stills me
Standing aloft (I observed)
He motions forward, beckoning me to come
Arms open wide
Thinking (strange)
Affix on his heavy gaze (Sincerity)
He whispers "Jesus loves you"
Grasping me in a (fatherly) embrace
I melt- crying
Who is this Jesus? What is love?
The witness…
Knowing my thoughts
He answers, "A love that passes all understanding."
Adding softly, "He can save you, if you believe in his name."
"Do you believe?"
"I do!" answering shyly
"Then you are saved, for he who believes on his name shall be saved"
