Next time you feel like complaining. Next time you have regrets.
Let me give you something to think about before you get upset.
There was a Man of humility that surpassed every man.
He was destined for a mission before His life on earth began.
He never had a pillow of his own to lay his head.
Straw, dirt and grass were what He used for a bed.
He never had a closet filled with clothes from which to choose.
A tattered, ragged robe was what this simple Man had used.
He never had a pantry, or a restaurant from which to eat.
He even fasted forty days and nights in the barren desert heat.
He never had a television or computer for amusement.
His mission on this earth took every moment for fulfillment.
He never possessed things that the world labels as important.
A bank account, a brand new car, a house or apartment.
His life on earth was ended by men he came to save.
They gambled for His clothes and laid Him in a borrowed grave.
All the things he never had, all the places he’d never been
There has never been a richer man since time on earth began.
One thing that you must know about this humble, simple Man.
He really is the King of kings and chose this life as God’s plan.
Next time your feeling cheated, next time your feeling blue
Remember, He left His holy kingdom to complete His mission for you.

I love it -- so simple even a child can understand it, yet so profound. Nice work!
