My Prayer

Loving Creator of beautiful flowers and trees,
You've crowned this day with the bluest of skies,
The morning laughs with a golden voice that calls
"Come, bask in warmth robed in a silken breeze."

I treasure this shining day you've gifted to me,
And I ask your presence to fill m;y heart,
To bring warmth and light into some clouded life.

You who have made such beauty without,
Please take my life, and all I have for your use,
Make me clear and clean, like the day you've given.

Lead me to share your love, that it may be a light,
Glowing, golden, warm in blessing the whole day through.
This is my prayer to you.
