Children of light – surround yourself with sweet
And sonorous music; why do you stare
At the heavenly realm - the sea of chords
Where swift hymns descend with angelic gifts.

Yeomen of the bark, gather you here now
As part of our cathedral walls – to guard
The sacred mystery with your faithfulness,
To cherish the truth in fidelity.

Christ’s ascension prepares - oh, conviction
With wings of abiding love - our spirit
And corporal - each to each to assist,
With time’s blessings, our soul for eternal
Paradise. Oh, music of endearment -
Our soul’s solace for peace and enchantment.
