Prayers
Father God, we praise You and worship You completely, with all that is within us. We thank You for the gift of creation, of salvation and the enduring and growing honor of knowing and loving You more each day. As we come together for this study, please reveal to us those areas of captivity in our lives.
Please give us wisdom, discernment, strength and courage to engage in battle to take back ground that belongs to You. Please show us what battles to fight, when to fight and how to fight them. We pray to be filled to overflowing with the Holy Spirit.
Let us knowingly and willingly bend to the leading of the Holy Spirit and eternally stand firm and unyielding against all other influences in our lives.
We pray for past hurts to be recognized and grieved, for hearts to be completely healed and restored. We pray to forgive and be forgiven; we pray to learn and practice to love and be loved.
Father God, please help us to fulfill the plans You have made for us. In Jesus' precious name we pray. Amen.
