How To Live A Successful Christian Life

There are three powerful biblical principles that can help us live a successful Christian life.

Firstly, to be successful in your Christian life you will need to learn to forgive. Faith will not work when you walk in unforgiveness.

Matthew 18:21 – 35 clearly teaches us to forgive others. Learning to forgive others is great but you must also remember to learn to forgive yourself.

In Matthew’s account, Jesus said we are to forgive one person not seven times seven, but rather seventy times seven. Doing the math, seven multiplied by seventy equals four hundred and ninety.

If you read both Matthew 18:21 and Luke 17:4 together, Jesus teaches us to forgive each person up to four hundred and ninety times in one day!

Jesus would not ask us to do something that He isn’t willing to do. If we are told to forgive each person four hundred and ninety times a day for the same offence, then Jesus must be willing to forgive us 490 times a day for the same offence.

The second principle is to learn to forget. We are to be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. (Ephesians 4:32).

When Jesus forgives He forget. He has promised in His Word that He will not remember your sins. (Isaiah 43:25).

The third biblical principle to a successful Christian living is to learn the secret of faith. You will need to believe what God’s word says. God’s word will work for you if you are a believer. (Mark 11:23 – 24).

So start a life of success with God today by learning to forgive and forget and also learning how to believe what God’s Word says.

God bless!
