No greater love have I ever known
than the one who was sent for my sins to atone.
It is I who should've fallen at the site of that cross
but it was Jesus my Savior who accepted the cost.
Born in Bethlehem in a stable, wrapped in swaddling clothes.
Yes he lay there in a manger so the story is told.
Born of a young virgin was this Holy one,
this child, this Savior was God's own precious Son.
God's love sent down from Heaven on that wonderful night,
brought wise men from afar to see this heavenly sight.
Glory to all people in Heaven and on Earth
receive the special love that was given at His birth.
