I’m Building My Legacy

I’m building my legacy as I journey in this walk of faith. I am expanding my personal reach toward my predestined purpose in life. As I stretch my comfort zones to reach the masses with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, my purpose is to use it to inspire and motivate people to move forward towards a more intimate walk with God.
A good man leaves an inheritance to his children's children: and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the righteous.
As I walk this path of faith I am not alone;
My savior walks by my side and keeps me safe from harm.
Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good;
lead me into the land of uprightness.
These are the words of my spirit as I journey on this path of light.
The Father knows the desires of my heart as He departs His wisdom
and guides me in all Truths.
These words are recorded in many books of my possession
to be read by my children and their children.
From this day forward may the Lord add a blessing
to the reading of the words of my legacy.
Follow the path of righteousness
Listen to the words of the Lord
Seek out your purpose in life
Serve Christ always by yielding to leading of the Holy Spirit
Do all God tells you to do and don’t delay
Do what you love and love what you do
Put God first and He will bless you.


Words of Wisdom:
We are not saved through works, but by Faith in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. If we follow the example Christ gave us in the Bible we will find the path of our destiny in this life. For example; Christ died for us; to redeem us from the judgment of God for our sins. Would you die for Christ? We do this when we die to the flesh/ or our sinful nature. (We were born with this nature) Christ was resurrected for us; will you live for Him? We live for Christ by serving God’s divine purpose. Christ sent back His Holy Spirit to earth to carry on His character, purpose, will and love for the Father. (This is the Legacy of Jesus Christ) What legacy, monument of remembrance, will you leave in the earth? We should be building a ministry of Christ’s love in service to our family, church, community, and nation. What will others remember about what you did for Christ? (This is YOUR spiritual legacy) Your spiritual legacy is your inheritance for which you are leaving to your heirs. Examine your life past, present and hope for the future; are you leaving a tangible remembrance for others to honor in your absence?
Write in your journal an inscription for a monument (tombstone) for yourself. What would you like it to say and how will it best reflect who you were in Christ? If you reflect long on this you might find you keep changing it as you discover more things of tangible faith for which you lived as a representation of Christ’s love and grace in the earth. Remember what is written in stone will be an eternal reminder of the person you were in life, so take this exercise seriously.
