Path to Peace - Joselyn G. MayFair

Path to Peace - Joselyn G. MayFair by Joselyn G. MayFair

Each of us unique created with enough tools to reach certain levels of purpose in our lifetime. Often we lean towards the thought that happiness comes from the view society plants in our minds. Society if they had their way we would all look, act and live the same. Imagine a world where everyone you met looked just like you.

You both lived-in the same styled house, with the same type of family; you both held the same career. This would be a senseless existence as a person. Unique each of us is our own person with our own purpose. You should never lose sight to that purpose in your life and finding happiness will depend on nurturing your spiritual and unique self-to carry out your life purpose.

When you lose the track to your purpose in life you become discontent left feeling unfulfilled. Depression often sets in and then your loved ones suffer alongside you. You are created to live in harmony and peace with the world and above all with your- self. We're created as spiritual beings that can stay focused on your goals and spiritual peace.

To be free from social programming we have undertaken since birth only by strengthening our inner voice by the wisdom that lives within can we challenge and take apart social mind-set. By nurturing the spiritual part of us by prayer, meditation and seeking communion with God.

Society normally destroys itself and its followers if not grounded in social and emotional spirituality, Great men of the past have lessons we can learn of to destruct society. Take for instance these few as examples to learn lessons from. Christ, Socrates, Gandhi and Martin Luther King all lived their life purpose but were all killed by the societies in which they lived.

It is important for spiritual growth that we do not engage in success as the rule for our self-worth. God created us, with unique self-significant qualities to share with others. We never find that deep satisfaction of success without developing our spiritual self.

We often find in our lives feeling loneliness though we surrounded by many that love us yet the emptiness within still exist. I am reminded whenever I feel that empty hollow place that I have neglected my spiritual well-being. My spiritual growth stunted and my purpose in life is on hold.

Imagine if you will life being a play on a great stage. You have a role to play before this world and important role that only you are playing. If you do not know the part for this great play and how to do your lines well then others lose the meaning of the play. And you lose the chance to carry out the greatest act of your life your spiritual peace.

You will need to develop a deeper contact with our inner voice through prayer, silence, and meditation. Then we will hear the "small voice" of inner wisdom and know, within ourselves, the role that we have come to play.

Life can be successful and enjoyable while we are alive if we learn to seek not societies code on peace and harmony but when we develop our spirits as God planned for each of us.
