Speaking in reference to this bill in the UK, Paul Cook of the Barnabas Fund said, "This is a law which criminalizes an opinion about the religious community. What it says is: anyone speaking or broadcasting, using words which are considered to be either abusive, threatening or insulting toward a religious community, and it is considered that those words are likely to, or intended to, stir up religious hatred of that community, they could possibly fall foul of this offense." Further one pastor who attended a rally opposing this bill said why he attended the rally "I came today because, when I go up to preach in the pulpit, I want to be able to preach what Scripture teaches me, I want to be able to preach Jesus Christ is Lord and only in Him can I find salvation."

This law in the UK has already passed in Australia. Howbeit, the one in Australia is a civil law and the people who violate the law face civil penalties in suits filed by people who don’t like what they say. The UK law brings years of prison behind it. It is only a matter of time before this law will be universally pursued.

In Australia we see two pastors Daniel Nalliah of Catch The Fire Ministries and Daniel Scot[read story], a Pakistani evangelist who face a suit arising out of this civil lawsuit. A tribunal judge found the men guilty of ‘vilifying’ Islam, following a lengthy trial that ended late last December. A complaint was filed against them by the Islamic Council of Victoria State, after three Muslims said statements made by Daniel Scot ‘offended’ them. The Muslims attended a church seminar on Islam, conducted by Scot and sponsored by Catch the Fire Ministries, in March 2002. Pastor Danny Nalliah said the seminar featured a comparison of verses from the Bible with verses from the Koran.

Already, we have reported on efforts in the USA by prominent congressman among them Ted Kennedy who tried to nail a version of this same bill [which is found in the UK, Canada, Australia, and in Europe it is pending]. On Friday, October 21, 2005 — After a failed attempt at passing "hate crimes" legislation, in America Sen. Edward Kennedy, D-Mass., was trying to attach an amendment favored by homosexual-rights activists to another bill, an activist group said. This legislation in America follows the Canadian bill that was passed already in which certain passages of the Bible [read story]can be construed as hate literature if placed in a particular context, according to a Canadian provincial court.

Then if all this were not enough we have the ACLU who has a goal to de-God this nation and take out every vestige of prayer, the name of Jesus Christ, and any symbol of that faith from among the population. In addition to these attacks on the faith of Christianity, many schools openly engage in teaching muslim ways and homosexual agendas in their schools. For example in 2003 a San Franciso court judge ruled that a school there had not violated any constitutional rights of students. The case was alarming because The Thomas More Law Center says that for three weeks, "impressionable 12-year-old students" were, among other things, placed into Islamic city groups took Islamic names wore identification tags that displayed their new Islamic name and the star and crescent moon handed materials that instructed them to ‘Remember Allah always so that you may prosper’ completed the Islamic Five Pillars of Faith, including fasting and memorized and recited the ‘Bismillah’ or ‘In the name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate,’ which students also wrote on banners hung on the classroom walls. Students also played "jihad games" during the course, which was part of the school’s world history and geography program. Now, if you are a christian you will find that to promote christianity,which would mean, you could pray in schools, read your bible, or mention Jesus Christ in class is blatantly against the law. Not only that, but to do so would bring the ACLU and others against you along with alot of hatred. All the while they [the ACLU and others] do not object to ungodly agendas or other religions being taught in schools. This is classic war against the Believer and the devil is the opponent. There are wicked men and women sold out to his cause. A cause that will wreck havoc in the nations as they seek to quell all symblance of christianity. This is not your grandmothers or her mothers America any more. The Christian nation is now heading full speed into the "Whore of the nations" title as she sheds all christian vestiges and embraces the "wine of the Whore"[see revelation 17-18]

For years now christian persecution has been greater than it has been at any time since the beginning of our faith in Christ Jesus. Literally millions of Christians have been slaughtered around the world by radical hinu’s and muslims, along with secular atheistic governments. The governments of North Korea and China have been putting christians in jail and torturing them for years. All along the USA does nothing. In Sudan, Christians were killed, made captives, and sold as slaves. In Indonesia churches are forced to close and many christians are killed or barely escape with their lives.

The war is on now. It is coming to a neighborhood near you. We are to speak the words of Christ, no matter the opposition. We are of the Lord, not of this world. We are in the world, but not of it. We are to serve God not mammon, We are to speak the truth in love, but speak it nonetheless. We are to warn, exhort, and preach the Word with all longsuffering. This is what the early church did and the Apostles and it brought them persecution and hatred. You see, Peter and the disciples faced this same thing as we are starting to face today. Would they shut up? NO ,They would not! Would they tolerate fleshly pagan priests in the church? NO, they would not! Peter and his followers said this to those who did not like their word of testimony concerning Jesus Christ.

Acts 5:28 Saying, Did not we straitly command you that ye should not teach in this name? and, behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man’s blood upon us.

29 Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.

There are many of those who are profane and ungodly in the church today, yet they appear as angels of light. In one particular denomination for example we find a war going on. There are remnants of believers in churches today who follow the Lord Jesus Christ and believe His word, then there are those who oppose these disciples. Why? because these disciples hold firmly to the Word of God. To prevent these believers from disrupting the church as a whole ungodly forces have come against the believers. They want these believers to shut up concerning the ungodly doctrines the church government is trying to adopt. Here we ask a question. Which is more important to keep the church whole even with filth and profane doctrines or come out of her. See Revelation 18, The believers are admonished to come out of Babylon {type of the whorish worldly church}" In a article titled the Episcopal group plots takeover by Tony LaRussa we read first hand of the struggle. The article tells of an Episcopal group has a doomsday plan that calls for ousting conservative bishops and seizing church property if they attempt to break from the denomination over its increasingly liberal position on homosexuality. The so-called "Day After" plan could kick in as early as June, when the Episcopal Church USA holds its General Convention in Columbus, Ohio, according to minutes from a closed steering committee meeting of the group Via Media. Declaring the bishop’s seat vacant and appointing an interim bishop. Requesting a special convention to give the interim bishop power to fill positions in diocesan government such as trustees, councils and standing committees. Preparing to take legal action to protect church property. Identifying locations and personnel such as retired priests, deacons and lay leaders to provide worshipping communities and "safe havens" for those who remain in the Episcopal church. Launching a public relations campaign to build awareness and support for the remaining church’s positions." Here we see just one of the many wars going on inside church denominations today. Remember the church is not the denomination or title or a building. The church is the blood washed, born again believers who obey the commandments of Jesus Christ.

As disciple of Jesus Christ we are to keep his commandments: John 15:10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.

As disciples we are also to:

Jude 1:21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

22 And of some have compassion, making a difference:

23 And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.

24 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,

25 To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.
