ASDF and Y2K and ME

ASDF are the homekeys on a typewriter/computer keyboard. That's how I chose the name of my typing service "A-S-D-F Secretarial Service." My very first client asked me what the letters stand for ... (A)s (S)oon as (D)iane (F)eels like it, she'll get the typing done(!) ... I decided to give the letters my own names ... (A) (S)ervant (D)evoted (F)orever to Father Creator. I even had a necklace designed with those letters. When I wear it, it represents the accomplishments I made in my life. To me it is like wearing a crucifix or a cross. A Servant Devoted Forever.

I always prayed to Father Creator and asked Him if I could be His Personal Secretary. Yes! Surely, He has planted ideas in my head about different problems. And I shall begin with this one and share the miracles in my life ...

If you will remember ... when Y2K was approaching, many were concerned if the computers would know to change to the year 2000 or if they would revert back to 1900. There was GREAT concern and worry at that time in the world.

I felt I knew a solution within me (planted by Holy God). How could I get the word out? I placed an ad in the Tabloids, costing me over $3,000.00 and I only received a handful of replies. Now what? I decided to send out a mass mailing. I went to the library and hand copied names and addresses, mainly to newspapers.

Well, nothing happened. This year I tuned into the Internet under my name, and lo and behold, I found an article written by an editor ABOUT ME and MY IDEAS (!) Under the "P.S." he says, "Go Boilers!" I wonder who "Boilers" are? My brother said to me, "Diane, I think you saved the world when Y2K was coming."

I neither received a penny nor a thank you, but I guess those are the ways of this world. The question is ... "Did Creator God receive a THANK YOU?" He saved the world ... for now. I guess I didn't really deserve a penny or a thank you ... because I was merely HIS INSTRUMENT. I will share here the article:
