Before the earth was formed, before the darkness became light.
Before the stars were in the heavens, before the first bird was in flight.
Before the land became the ocean, before the fish were in the sea.
Before man took his first breath, the Creator knew you and me.

Every tear you’ve shed is bottled, every joy you’ve had is shared.
All the trials you will face are met by the One who knows it’s there.
When the world has turned its back, and you feel abandoned and alone.
Remember, God knew you would be here before the forming of your bones.

If your life is not what you had hoped, remember God is not surprised.
Do not believe the doubt and fear, do not invite those wicked lies.
For God above has already won every battle you will face.
They will make you more like Jesus. It’s what He anticipates.

You see, your life is not an accident, a mistake or even by chance.
Every word and every step you take was planned by God, in advance.
It was Him who gave you everything. Your family, job and talents.
Obey Him with what He’s given you, and your life will have His balance.
