Broken World
How do we mend your
Broken world Lord.
It is heaving under the
Strain of our misuse
You O God groans and
Rumbles, weeping over
This calamity.
The creatures of the deep
Spit out the garbage of
Destruction, while angels
Wrestle with dragons.
For the beauty overflows
With abuse.
Poor love to rekindle the flame
Of hope, for in You we breathe
Joy to restore the earth to
Peace and harmony.
