Your presence is such an imposing force;
My mouth is shut, my heart would stop;
Yet, You move with loving course;
Your might could make me drop;

Yet, here I am, in Your care;
All Your ways never fail;
You keep me from the god of the air;
And answer when I bewail;

Great is this mystery, I call my Lord and God;
This treasure-trove no fantasy, and He is my laud;
You are the ultimate reality, to which all spirits will go;
Your wisdom reveals my futility; You I desire to know;

Before this King, I am a beast;
A wretch saved by grace;
By it, He saved this least,
To bask before His face;

My heart and mind swim at the thought:
My place to e’er be with You;
You will to make Yourself my eternal lot;
The Divine Good that is so true;

With Your love, Your strength and size,
I’m not afraid, but I am at peace;
By these things You’ve made me Your prize;
A foolish war You’ve made cease;

Glorious Father, You’re my Best Friend;
You’ve brought me to Your Son;
My life in You is no dead end;
Beyond the end it’s only begun.
