In the shadow of the Cross
stands behind a weary soul,
beckoning Holy God”
Oh Thou makest
me whole”
A sinner yet a saint
called out by eternity’s
plan; called out amongst
man to forgo wordly cares
and to make a pilgrimage
in the night.
Traveling at times with
the weight upon his
shoulders;sometimes
forgetting to leave
them at the foot of
The Cross.
The Holy Light radiates
and the awareness of sins curse
is lifted as Holy Blood
Covers all who believe.
In the shadow of the Cross
the saint moves in Faith;
in Victory.
No sin shall over take
for mercy reigns;
for the Eternal Light
reflects upon the soul.
Out Stretched Arms await
every sinner and fallen
Saint.
In the shadow of the Cross
God’s Sword and Sheild
Await. Oh come child of
God stand in The Word
and Put on the Faith.
