Faith
I knew you not
For a moment had fluttered by
Breathless abandon
I searched my heart
Your spirit, I tried to find
Reckless insurrection
Swiftly, it came
Gnawing on my soul, it replied
You must come
Agony Surreal
Gripping my flesh, yearning to die
Faith undone
You can’t have me!
To Hell with you, I cry
Jesus has won!
Revealed truth
I am of sound body and mind
I will overcome!
Your wings of love stretched over me
In your embrace, I hide
Your will be done!
Sing to my heart
Dance with me through the night
Heavenly kingdom!
Invade my soul
Take control, this nightmare will shine
Glorious Resurrection!
