Short Stories
The air in the garden is fragrant like the aroma around the Throne of God. The sweet smell of His Presence permeates every living thing, breathing newness of life and hope. A peaceful calmness radiates throughout the lush vegetation and you can feel the light stillness. The wind begins to blow afresh and you can smell the rain coming in the distance. You feel a change in the atmosphere around you, lifting your face you feel tiny droplets begin to sprinkle down your head. The downpour is welcomed by you as you dance among the flowers spinning and turning in joy. The dry vegetation soaks up all of the shower it can stand. You see the streams form from tiny puddles. The streams flow from this place touching other dry places. Rivers are formed from the once small sprinkles. The rivers nourish life everywhere they flow without and within the garden.
The light shines through the pouring rain, displaying royal colors across the sky. You see the colors of the spectrum painted across the sky in radiant beauty. Only the Master Artist could have created such beauty. You lift your hands and let them fill with water. The rain spills forth from your raised hands overflowing all around. You hear a gentle lullaby in the sound of the rain. Yes, He created both light and water. He is the Light and Truth yet He is the Living Water. In Him we live and move and have our very being.
