Don’t Be the devil’s Doormat

satan is footloose and fancy free in today’s comatose church community. Why? Because My dear people have swallowed his lie that whenever something terrible strikes their lives, I must be the author of it and they ought to embrace it joyfully as coming from Me and give joyful thanks for it.

Sickness, tragedy, loss and pain are welcomed with open arms by deceived saints of many denominational persuasions. The enemy laughs with glee to see My people lay down their Sword of the Spirit and meekly prostrate themselves before him to allow him to wipe his nasty feet all over them. Suffering satan’s attacks is viewed as partaking of Christ’s sufferings and it would be considered an attitude of basest self-centeredness to seek to break free of those oppressions.

How long will My people persist in cherishing every skunk the devil sneaks inside their door as a fragrant rose from My Throne of Grace? Have I not blessed you with spiritual senses and sanctified common sense, My people? If something smells nasty and tastes disgusting it is probably not a gift froom My hand.

If you buy milk, pour it into a glass and it smells "off" you wouldn't feel condemned for disposing of it as unfit for human consumption. If you felt duty-bound to drink the milk anyway, and did so, you might end up with a severe case of gastroenteritis as your body violently rejects what it senses is poison. So why should the principle be any different in the spiritual realm? While there ARE times I lead you to suffer and partake of a bitter cup to achieve the purposes of My greater glory, there are many other times the devil is presenting members of My own Body with a big cup of religious poison to weaken your resistance against him and to make you ill spiritually.

The works of the enemy have been tolerated far too long in My midst. And they are beginning to be tolerated by saints in the community instead of being warred against in the Spirit. Instead of preaching repentance to offenders, only reassurance of My unconditional love is extended unto them. Instead of hating even the garment spotted by the flesh, even the basest sins are held under the microscope to look for redeeming qualities about bad things. Don’t be deceived, My people. I have not called you to rail against some man or woman who despairs of being ensnared in some sin and is outwardly less holy than you seem to be. That is judgmentalism. But neither should you be afraid to call bad bad and good good. You are anointed to preach against sin and wickedness in the earth. You must never apologize for the calling I have put upon your life to be light in this world. And what is the function of My light in your life? The light exposes the dirt and causes conviction to know that it needs to be gotten rid of. And the light shines within the recesses of a sinner or backslider’s heart to show them their need of repentance. I have not called you to dismiss rampant sin in your community as moral failure which needs to be emphasized with as being part of the "human condition". That is false compassion. True compassion has the courage to confront evil and expose it as a thing originating with the father of darkness, satan. I have not called you to tickle ears, but as My representatives in the earth I have ordained you to warn men, women and children of what they stand to lose eternally should they refuse to repent of their sins. It is useless to sift through their sins and search for something of eternal value in this dung heap of this world.

Nor is it profitable unto you to sift through the dung heap of the devil’s attacks upon your life to try to redeem them as something good. I came to DESTROY the works of the devil, not sanctify them. Don’t swallow every religious fad that comes along. All religious error is a waste of your time, but some teachings are far more destructive than others. Devil’s Doormat is NOT a valid Christian ministry. I have called you to be soldiers warring against the kingdom of darkness, not passive peaceniks who won’t give satan a good kicking in your ministry and message. Sin must be striven against with the Weapons of the Spirit, not tolerated “in love”. Non-resistance to the devil is a religious copout of hell which makes a mockery of the Glory of God within you and brings dishonor to My Holy Name. There are times you WILL have to suffer, but you must not give place to satan by welcoming into your lives evil works I came to destroy through My own suffering on the Cross of Calvary.

Resist satan in the might of the Holy Spirit and with the authority of My anointed Word, I will surely bruise him under your feet shortly. Faith in Christ and His finished work on the Cross will sind the devil running like a scared rat.
