Maybe a better question would be, “How powerful and wise do you think He really is?”

Our God, that I know, could have created the heavens and the earth in less than six minutes. That is how powerful and wise I really think that He is.

But there are reasons that I believe He took longer than six minutes, but no longer than 144 hours.

He had a plan even before He began. He had our salvation all planned. He also knew His creation better than we will ever know ourselves, because He made us exactly how He wanted us and He did it on the first try. It did not take Him billions of years of trials and errors to come up with the heavens and earth and all living things in it. He is much greater than that.

He designed us to need a rest and He knew the perfect number would be six days of work and one day of rest. He designed us in His image so that we would need to follow His ways for us.

He also knew our understanding would be limited and so He wanted to make sure that there would be no confusion. When He told us days, He wanted there to be no confusion about what He was saying.

He didn’t want us to think that the first day was a billion years and the second day would be millions and the third day would be billions and the fourth day would be thousands and that even though the land animals that were called dinosaurs, were created on the sixth day with man, they didn’t even see each other. Then Adam of course rested for thousands of years on the seventh day and that is what we are to do now. Work for many billion of years and then rest for a thousand of years later......................

Are you confused now?

And what about all the death of all those animals before Adam and Eve sinned? When they were standing in the garden where God proclaimed that neither man nor animal were to eat anything but things from plants and everything was good. Was there millions of years of death and destruction buried under them?

None of it makes sense except that all those ideas are brainwashing from a world that is determined to keep us slaves to the original lie............you can believe whatever you want, reject God and live forever. A lie to make you believe that you can believe whatever you want about the Bible and it won’t make any difference.

What can you do? Do exactly what the Bible says. Test all things. Start everything with the Bible and then see if information agrees with everything it says in the Bible. If it doesn’t agree with the Bible, throw out that information and start over by reading and believing your Bible.

Don’t start with information and have the Bible try to agree with it.

(You must remember that for thousands of years, mankind believed that the world was flat and that the sun revolved around the earth. This belief was finally proved wrong with new technology. So if you wait long enough, anything that does not agree with the Bible will eventually be proved wrong anyway.)

Get rid of any education that you had, that excluded God and get a new education that is Bible based.

This will eliminate so much confusion, help restore a strong faith and belief in God and your heart will rejoice in knowing that God is powerful and with Him, all things are possible, even a 144 hour creation.

Knowing that God is that powerful, will make it much easier for total surrender to Him, which is vital if Christ is to dwell in you and make the changes that you will need to become Holy and live with God for eternity.
