The Trumpet Shall Sound
Before you will even have time to wink,
While you look up and as you blink,
It will happen faster than you think.
Glory! The trumpet shall sound.
Praise sings out of the rocks and trees.
People drop down fast to their knees
Saying, "Lord Jesus, bring me please."
At the time the trumpet shall sound.
There are sounds of laughter and of cries
As bodies everywhere begin to rise.
Lord Jesus appears before all eyes…
At the time the trumpet shall sound.
This sound is heard by every ear
Bringing gladness as well as fear,
Announcing the time of Judgement is here.
Believers rejoice that the trumpet shall sound.
Multitudes walked on His righteous path
Others rejected it ignoring God's wrath.
Jesus rules over the lost and His found.
Yes, it will happen… the trumpet shall sound.

Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye,
at the last trump:
for the trumpet shall sound,
and the dead shall be raised incorruptible,
and we shall be changed.
