A Prayer for Lost Loved Ones

Lord, help me when I go back to my home
Returning from the world in which I roam
Help me plant a seed that will take deep root
So that it may produce such soul-saving fruit

Let me show my beloved who are lost
Grace for which Your Son paid the cost
Please help them see me as the new creation
That through Christ they receive salvation

Holy Spirit guide me while under their roof
That I may accurately portray the Truth
Use and guide me when I have my say
That Lord Jesus Christ is the only Way

Help them see and repent of all their sin
Allow the steps of their salvation to begin
May they accept that You died and rose for us
And ask You to reign in their life, Lord Jesus

In the precious Holy name of Jesus Christ,

This is heavy on my heart for all the lost. As true Christians we should all feel a burden for the lost. We need to share the Truth. We are commisioned to spread the Gospel to all the world. Even Our Lord had difficulty in His hometown. "Isn't He the carpenter's son..." Most Christians I have talked to have experienced the same difficulty witnessing to their own. As I am approaching a visit to my home next week I have been praying ever increasingly that I may have a successful witness when I see my family and friends from home. Only the power of God can complete the steps of salvation for our loved ones, but it is through our prayer and petition that the Lord will work. A prayer for another's salvation aligns with the will of God and therefore if we ask in the Name of Jesus it will be given.

With Easter approaching, if there ever was a "perfect" time to witness then the anniversary celebration of the Victory of Jesus is it. I am asking that we use the power (of God) through coorperate prayer to reach our lost loved ones. Pray always for those who are lost, but I am asking that on Easter Sunday that everyone take a minute (or however long) to pray for all our lost loved ones. I'm going to pray it with my morning prayer (and most likely throughout the day).

I am also asking for your prayers from April 22nd through 30th, that my witnessing will be successful with my family and friends.

Thank you all so very much. I pray that God continues to pour His blessings on you each and everyday. Glory to God.
