Poetry
I see Him ,my Jesus,I
see Him carrying a wooden
beam. There is blood on His
Back and there is a crown
of thorns on His Head;there
is blood on His precious
Brow;oh how could this be?
My heart my eyes are
full of sorrow and tears;
for it was He that reached
out with love and mercy to
me.
For it was just the other day;
when I witnessed Him speak
of the Father’s Love.I saw
Him heal the blind the sick
the lame;setting the captives
free.
Oh my Jesus He is walking
down the road of suffering;
He told me and His other followers
that one day His Love would
lead Him this way.
They are laying him down
with the beam. Oh My Jesus
I can not bare to see.
The nail is driven
into His right Hand;then another
nail is driven into His other
Hand to the tree and then a
nail in His precious Feet;
Blood is spilt every where;
I can not bare to look,
For He is suffering for me.
I see Him there the spotless
Lamb of God;All beaten
and marred; I hardly recognize
My Jesus the Loving God man
who set me free.
For I was the one whom He
cast out the evil spirits out
of . For I was the one who
wiped His Holy feet with
my hair and tears. I was
The sinner forgiven by
The Son of man,the man
From Galilee...
Three hours go by and the
sun is darkened. My Jesus
has spent that time of Suffering;
I hear him say,it is Finished!
He bows his head and it seems
like a dark carpet has covered
the sky and the earth shakes while
The Son of God bows His head
death has arrived...
My heart is full of sorrow and
disbelief ;will I ever see my
Jesus again?will I see Him
and touch Him and let His
Love touch me...
Three days have passed, I must go
visit His grave. The Passover
is done and I’m free to visit
that place.I will anoint His body
with this sweet perfume;that is the
least I can do for Him;for all that He has
done for me.
As I arrive at the grave site
I see two angels
standing there ;the Stone
has been rolled away.
The angels proclaim
"He is Risen", tears of
Joy fill my eyes.
There is a gardner standing by
I ask Him where is my Jesus?
The Gardner looks at me with
mercy and Love in His eyes.
The Gardner whispers my Name Mary,
It is I.
My Jesus my Jesus
stands in front of me!!!
Oh hear my story, hear the
account of my Life for
The Son of God is Alive!
Come visit the Empty Tomb;
Come and see; come and
Believe!Come and receive
The Greatest Love that
has been offered to You and
to me.

Imagine how it would be to be there at that horrifying scene, to see the sinless, loving, merciful, compassionate Jesus, who demonstrated His love for us by shedding His blood to wash away our sins? You described in such a very touching detail how Mary must have felt at that time. As we remember the Holy Week, especially Good Friday, may we be reminded of the significance of the cross and what Jesus Christ had done for us. Our challenge is what are we going to do in return for His great love? Love Him back (because He first love us) and love one another. A blessed Easter to you Sis. Dee and to your family. Love, Gloria
