NARRATOR: (British accent extremely proper)
Now running at the Oregon Shakespearean Festival, this summer—

(MUSIC: cut to Funky Rap music)

HAMLET: (Hamlet raps, bruthas join in on capitalized parts)

"Yo, gather 'round homies and a-listen HERE
Kickin' MC Hamlet gonna BEND YOUR EAR
You see mah daddy is a ghost an' mah girl's inSANE
Mah uncle married mah mamma now he's KING OF THE DANES

HOUSE RESPONSE:

NARRATOR:

(MUSIC: Funky rap music bed background)

HAMLET: (says)

(SFX: Handgun bullet being chambered)

HAMLET:

NARRATOR:
Shakespeare's immortal tragic triumph is in Ashland, and is in the 'Hood.

MUSIC: (Funky rap music up)

HAMLET:

MUSIC: (Funky rap music low)

NARRATOR:
So, watch out, homeys, 'cause we're gonna raise the roof.

MUSIC: (Funky rap music up, "bruthas" joins on capital letters)

HAMLET:
"Mah home boy Laeretes is tryin' to kill ME,
Rozencranz and Guildenstern they DIED OVERSEAS
