What are you Living For?

We teach words, and phrases, and songs,
But what about the Love?
We preach dogma like barking dogs,
But what about the Love?
Endless debates, pointless and long,
But what about the Love?

The only thing I can desire,
Is to make my God higher,
To lose myself in Him,
And to lose myself to sin,

Theology has no place with God,
But what about the Love?
Religion only poisons this song,
But what about the Love?
Who allowed us to teach them wrong?
And what about the Love?

The only thing I can desire,
Is to make my God higher,
To lose myself in Him,
And to lose myself to sin,

Who taught us to teach religion?
The world is dying in sin,
Here we stand in indecision,
How many dance on the head of a pin?
Can we not see the world dying?
Here stand we all vying,
To see who’s right and who’s wrong,
Who’ll go out and sing His song?

What about the Love?
What have you done with the Love?
What have I done with the Love?
