Lamplight
Many years ago
During a dark hour
Jesus lit a flame
Of an eternal lamp
Now as darkness grows
And midnight oil burns
Amid the darkness shines
A single bright light
Light of the world
Shine forevermore
We’d see nothing
Without your lamp
Shine upon deeds
Done in darkness
That would rage
Against the flame
Light our path
Bring us home
To the great light
Around the throne
