Papa God, is yuh daughter here
Father God, please incline yuh ear,
Me don’t know how fe put it inna words
But I goin try me best, like Dr bird.
Yuh nuh, from a chile I love you
Becarse yuh first love me
Though it did hard fe understan’
It was plain to see.
Me jus did mesmerize, by yuh everlasting love
Fe every man, woman, bwoy and girl
All over de world
Right from inna yuh Holy Hill
Yuh gi we wings like a dove!
Yuh nuh, from my yout days, me did know seh
You was somebady immense
Even dough me couldn’t see yuh, it neber put me aff,
Yuh power was evident, me did have better sense!

I do my best father, to know yuh ways
So I could ah live an follow yuh, all ah me days.
De mocking I endure it never put me aff
De devil prowl like a roaring lion plenty, my goodness
But I never bawl, I still quietly laugh!
Becarse me know seh in time, de captive would turn
Me neber know how fe call it back den,
But me did know, me did discern.
How could anybady know
My soul was turned to yuh?
I mean de wey tings set up and de wey I did live
'what ah enviroment, what ah tenement'
it jus overwhelm me,
I thought I had no’ting to give.
At times yes, me do try, too too hard and it everyting long
But yuh equip me well before hand,
Me use common sense, yur wisdom, an me likkle education
My 'sense' come from yuh, not me, and yuh father God is forever strong.

So

I give tanks fe yuh power and might, all a de time
I wants to give yuh de glory,
Papa God, for yuh is mine.
An’ me bless fe know seh, Yuh gimme a gift fe smile
Not a likkle, not sometimes, but all a de while.
At times, inside me jus wan beam out fe yuh,
I wan dance and shout, I jus wan fe do
Whatever I can to further yuh kingdom
An’ stamp Satan pan him head
Is fe wi time fe tek Dominion!
Is not ongle yeserdeh father, that me come to know yuh
Not a soul aware father, ah long time me ah enquire unto yuh.
Yuh know from a chile ah love yuh, Becarse yuh first love me
My first love, what can seperate us?
I give freely as it is given freely to me,
And I walk in mercy as mercy is what I see.
Father I thank yuh, fe all things from yuh me learn
de whole a we, inna de whole world, is yuh concern
I thank yuh father, for who yuh be, an fe yuh Majesty
Jah father knows, yes he do, unreservedly!
