Sit down with me awhile
I will tell you of my troubles
They cloud my vision
They block my heart felt flow
Bring with you laughter and sunshine
Take away all the raining pain away
Sit with me a while
Take this burden
Take what I can no longer carry
I throw my life at your mercy
Do with me what you will
Forgive me my river of sins only you know about
Forgive me my long list of faults
Bring to my eyes a new sunrise
Bring to my spirit a new fresh life
Take my cloudy vision
Take my aching heart
I give it to you
While I bow at your feet
