I woke up this morning wondering, if it is time for my Harvest. Some of you might understand, the Lord has been planting seeds and now the time of harvest has come. By reading John 4 35-38, one can understand the seed and harvest meaning. It’s with great pleasure to see the Lord’s hand at work. Some people’s purpose is to Plant the seed. The purpose of others is to Harvest the planted seed. We need only to look at March 30th 2006. To see the Harvest of those seeds planted earlier this year. To see what prayer can do for the family of Jill Carroll. Behold, the Harvest of Jill Carroll from captivity has occurred. Not to say, it was my prays that lead the Lord to her release. I’m sure a lot of people Prayed for her release. Therefore, Praying Works! Someone prayed long ago that I live a Christ-Like life. Those persons seed, planted long ago has been nurture by God's hands. So, I pray for others as well. I want you to Pray for other too.

We also see in John 4 35-38 all of us have two seeds. The Law seed meaning, the knowledge of Sin through the Law. The seed of Faith Meaning, our hope through God’s word he delivers all things in time. Let me illustrate. All of us have a field in our sprit for a “Seed” to grow. The Farmer (God) plants the seed of corn (the Word) and the seed of the Law (the Weed) into us. Then we start to grow in life having the power of choice. We begin to discern which path in life to take. Some grow up into the Word of God. Those knowing that it’s through the pursuit of Faith of Jesus Christ that saves our lives. In addition, other believing that though the Law they will be saved. Therefore, in us there’s the two Seeds. The Word and the Law. The Corn and the Weed. Once I understood this I tried to pull the Weed up only to fail. For the Weed and the Corn are tied together. Paul writes about this issue in Romans 7 14-25 the struggle with Sin. This generation is a sinful generation. Most have chosen not to be strong and have fallen by the wayside. However, some stand the testing of this generation, strong in Faith until their Harvest has come. The way to our Harvest is not yanking the Weed from the ground. For less we tear, the Corn and the Harvest come not. Only our Faith in Jesus Christ nurturing hand we are preserved, over time to grow into God’s intended purpose.
