The world is dying for encouragement
In the face of distress, decay and dismay.
When fear fills the air, doubt is what we share
Surely, what we need badly is a cheer.

Why sing the blues, when you can sing Good News?
Why look down, face covered with dread
When you can eat heaven’s bread instead?
Why go mourning when you can wear the garment of praise?

There is always a way through The Way
The way up is the way down.
The way of the cross
Is the way out of the curse.

Therefore, cast not away your confidence.
Look to the Lamb slain for you.
Look to Him and be healed.
Look to Him and be filled.
