Every girl is in a guy’s arms,
There’s no tearing them apart
Every hand now holds another
They “belong” to one another.

They’re wasting all their high school days
Giving all they’ve got away
But falling in love can hurt sometimes
So keep what you’ve got, and hold on tight.

Don’t get trapped- avoid the hurt
Only God knows what you’re worth
He will keep you pressing on
Don’t lose heart- your dream will come.

And on that day when you’re dressed in white
You’ll be so glad you held on tight
For Prince Charming will come and take your hand
And you’ll be glad you took a stand.

So cling to God and don’t let go,
But there’s one more thing that you should know:
When Prince Charming comes he’ll be worth the wait
That burdened all your high school days.
