Jesus wept, for you and for me
Jesus wept, to set us free
Jesus wept, riding into Jerusalem
Jesus wept, for His chosen Israel
Jesus wept, in humble surrender
Jesus wept, that we might enter
Jesus wept, for Mary and her sister
Jesus wept, for the crowd to consider
Jesus wept, for those who crucified Him
Jesus wept, asking, “Father, forgive them”
Jesus wept, that we may see
Yes, Jesus wept, for you and me
