Devotionals
While in prayer this morning, asking GOD what is it that HIS people need to know and understand, I was lead through a series of topics. I will list these and be as thorough as possible in what the LORD has told me.
The Internet and GOD
Somewhere along the way, whether it be in convenience or laziness on our parts, a growing majority has left the fellowshipping of the saints to find GOD online. My brothers and sisters, while any venue that will assist us in our personal seeking of GOD is of great value, there is nothing and I repeat absolutely nothing that can take the place of our being part of a local body in CHRIST.
Heb 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
We need one another, not only for our instruction and our personal encouragement but we need to be there for our brothers and sisters as well.
Sometimes we forsake the assembling together because we think we need to find that perfect church, but in reality if we ever found it we better not attend because then it would no longer be perfect.
It is so vitally important that we praise GOD in the congregation, together as one, that we fervently seek HIS glory and HIS presence together as a family of GOD, bringing about a true change in our churches, our homes, in our communities and in our world.
This is something the LORD has showed me through the years and it is very scary!
Somehow once we get persons to attend the local congregation, we start thinking if we get all dolled up and looking good in Sunday and Wednesday services, that if we tithe faithfully, that we occasional show signs of life with a seldom heard amen while the pastor is preaching. That this is all that is required of us. My brethren, if that is what we see, then the pulpit that is in front of us is not the salt of the earth, it is nothing more than a warming vessel to prepare the participants on the pathway to hell.
If our pulpits are not preaching change, a true repentance of the heart and a change calling and revealing CHRIST in us, it is not doing what GOD has told it to do.
If our pulpits are not encouraging us and urging us to develop a deeper and more intimate relationship with our FATHER thru CHRIST by challenging us to read more of HIS WORD, to study more, to pray more, to be in a constant meditation of HIM and HIS ways, always giving praise to our LORD for HE is the only one worthy of our sincere praises, to be seperate from the world and its ways, it is no wonder that HIS people are destroyed by a lack of knowledge.
If our pulpits are not getting us involved, being used by GOD to enable our personal seeking of GOD and HIS ways in our lives, causing each member to step up and walking in the anointing and calling on their own lives, and if our pastor thinks that only himself and others that he personally invites is called of GOD, that pulpit and pastor is dead wrong and leading his congregation the wrong direction. Its not about growing our congregations or furthering a personal legacy, it is about serving GOD and serving HIS will and purposes in each of our individual lives and causing all listeners to seek Him on their own always. Numbers do not look good to GOD if change is not taking place.
If our pulpits and teachers are not saying to us, do not take my word for it, seek GOD on your own, asking for HIS revelation knowledge to be applied in our personal walks with HIM, we are doing the LORD an injustice and we should seek a local body that truly encourages a personal revelation from GOD. Only be weary of our choice of local bodies, as so many churches have become big business instead of being true servants of GOD and HIS will.
If our churches are not placing GOD before even itself and calling the congregation to repentance, a repentance that only true believers and the truly saved will experience, then we seriously need to find a church that encourages us and places the truth out there for us, what is the truth? GOD has called our deepest conviction, devotion and our most sincere desires to serve Him and HE will settle for nothing less.
I pray that the LORD will open the spiritual eyes and ears of each reader and reveal HIS WORD and truth unto us all as we partake in this message.
GOD bless you all

This is very encouraging to read and a wake up call. We are obviously in the last days, and we must learn and pray how to discern false teachers/prophets from true teachers/prophets. The Bible is the best source. In Christ, Gloria
