When On The Brink
When on the brink of nowhere
You came into my heart
With many untold blessings
And that was just the start.
For you breathed new life
Into a despairing soul
You breathed light of love
You came and made me whole.
As I stand back to reflect
On the time you claimed me
And all the amazing happenings
That I can surely see
All the past burdens
Have left me long ago
For to be new in you Lord
I will surely grow and grow.
