Hello Mom!
At least that’s the name I desire to call
you if you give me the chance to live.

I know the time is hard and the pressure is great.
Believe me I sense the fears within.

Daddy’s gone and you are left all alone
with me knocking at your womb.

The money is tight and the enemies of life
are encouraging you to abort this precious life.

But I must speak on my behalf and for all
of those who are yet to come.

The Devil is a liar! He’s just trying to add more
sorrow to your life.

Aborting me will leave many scars to come.
Not knowing what or who I would have become
is a terrible burden to bear.

I’m more than a blob of tissue in your womb.
I’m awaiting to amaze the world
with what God has blessed me with.

Please Mom, don’t give me over to these butchers of life!

Nevertheless, if you decide to ignore my plea,
I forgive you and Jesus does too.
