and shattered in the wind
I hope you'll take My Hand
I'd like to help you mend.

I'd like to simply hold you
gather all the broken parts
You see, my specialty is
healing broken hearts.

I will not brush you off
I'm patient and I'm kind
I just came by to tell you
that you're always on my mind.

I want to come and visit you
to soothe away your tears
I've counted every one of them
I have for many years.

I've decided now to write you
hoping you will know this time
I want to take your broken heart
and give you all of Mine.
