When it seems so hard to trust
When the road is hard to follow
When our prayers are silent pleas
When the Answers are hard to swallow
How can we accept the moment?
How can we continue to press on?
How much weight should we carry?
How is it possible to see your Son?
God, we ask You all these questions
And we wonder when it ends
We have walked alongside Your footsteps
But the road before us is still full of bends
Please help us to find our focus
No matter how easy it is to skew
For we cannot control tomorrow's fate
But we know all things are made new through You
