Look Up
Everyday brand new paintings travel willingly across this sky,
Silently changing their exhibit while flocks of birds sail by.
Our attention is captured by many a spectacular view…
Like pretty rainbows seen dancing with sun showers of dew.
Golden moon is found encompassed by a gracious glowing haze
As countless stars continue to shimmer for an endless amount of days.
Here we are, one audience that daily attends this show
Which is in perpetual play no matter where we are or go.
From the time of dawn at sunrise, to the very edge of night
More paintings are created with pure and righteous sight.
How Someone wants us looking up and reaching high and far…
That same Someone who chose to guide us by a brilliant star.
Lift up your eyes and focus on things that are above,
For Heaven’s rays have touched your soul
with gentle holy love.
Look up!
