I see the black,
And with it, white;
I see wrong,
Along with right;
Your Word is my
Illuminate,
It is my own
Precious soul-light;

Yet in this life,
There are the grays;
For this, Your Word
Removes the haze;

What may be law;
For others, benefit;
For me, may not
Be to my profit;
If what's allowed
So makes me cower,
I'll not be brought
Under its power;

If one permit
Leaves others so corrupt,
Then I'll leave what
Does not build up;

For Your Word,
The law, is love;
By this, we are
Your hand's glove;
My need, You teach:
Love all the others;
Enemies, friends;
Especially brothers.
