Today reminds me of my love for you
Even though I love you everyday
But I also know if I don’t buy you a gift
It would be a horrible price to pay.

You’ve already said you want nothing
But common sense tells me that’s a lie
That just means that there is no price constraint
On almost anything that I may choose to buy.

You may be the woman that I truly love
And I love kissing and holding you tight
But right now I need to know what you’re thinking
Or I dread I may be in for a long night.

Are most men are suppose to be mind readers
And know all about their women’s desires
I am so tense with this monstrous decision
I pray I’m not the next one that she fires.

Many men dread the coming of Valentine’s Day
It’s the ultimate test of a loving man’s mind
If he goes shopping and dares to guess the wrong way
Many men will find themselves in a bind.

Women are so unfair when comes to their lover
They expect a man to read their mind
Lord, please give me a glue to what she’s thinking
Stores are closing and I’m running out of time.

What I think what I’ll do is just be honest
My gift will be most loving and so true
What I’ll give to her will be straight from my heart
My gift is sharing my true love for you
