Has Man’s Love For Sex Made Him Blind?

(In regards to a sermon that made my heart so sick, that I could not let the crying of my heart, go unspoken. The minute I heard it, I felt the pain of so many women, that the pain was unbearable.)

First wives are built up and encouraged.

Ephesians 5:29 For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as the Lord does the church.

Then they are torn down with guilt. The guilt of not being able to have sex with their husbands with a cheerful heart.

I am talking about the women that are married to a ‘king David’ type. A man that no matter what kind of sexual activity he is given, he is never satisfied, to the point that he will go out and have an adulterous affair with another man’s wife.

I am talking about the women that have husbands that are very cruel to them and when they are through with this abuse, they expect their wives to happily kiss and make up with them.

I am talking about the woman today that is lying in a hospital bed because she was covered in gasoline and then burnt because she did not bear her husband a male heir.

I am talking about the millions of girls that are sold into slavery every year, girls that are about 7-20 years old and are forced to have sex with men.

I could go on forever, but I won’t.

Where does your sermon on sex, talk about sacrifices that a man should be making for his wife, as these women are making sacrifices because of the cruelty of men?

And what about Christ? You never once mentioned Him.

Christ who sacrificed all of His fleshly needs for His wife.

Christ who sacrificed His body with tremendous pain and suffering so that His wife could be made pure.

Isn’t this what is meant by how Christ loved His bride as men should love their brides?
