The Lord o’ Truth, who died for me
That I, through the Life, would be set free.

Why should I heed the lord o’ the flies?

He comes to remind me of my past;
Casting on me, demonic overcast;
But my defense is like no other;
My lawyer is the Son of the Father;

I am the apple of the Lord’s eye;
Jesus, for me, chose to die;

Author's Note:This is a reprise because there's an older version of this here. I have wanted to re-write this, giving it a more of an attitude; more of a contemporary tone; something I think a lot of people appreciate, even if they're not a Christian.
