The path I take
The road I follow
The choices that I make
All add up to the decision
Of what course in life I take.

Many have an opinion
They think they know what’s right
But do they really have
The right direction in their life?

As a child we are taught
That if we are lost in life
To look to the north and find a star
The true north they say is right.

Take a compass with you
Everyday in life
And check it every once in a while
To see if you are right

To live a life without propose
With no goals at all
Makes the compass look
As if it has
No sense of north at all

But looking to the master
For your wisdom and your strength
When lost look to him
And He will show you the way

Your bible is your compass
A light unto your path
And Jesus, if you let him
Will walk with you all the way.

So take his hand
And walk with him
Learn His amazing love
And if you ever feel lost
Turn around and you’ll find him
You are truly never alone!
